The Strand Noord Nesselande project was commissioned by Nederlandse Bouw Unie (NBU) and designed by JMW architects. It accommodates 15 beach houses, 6 quay houses and 9 jetty villas. 25 flats were also realised in The Pavilion.
The high-quality architecture blends seamlessly with the dune area in which the houses are located. The look and size of the buildings give you a holiday feeling.
Beautiful large glass windows unite indoors and outdoors. Sleek white buildings with wooden accents adorn the waterline. Sustainability plays an important role in the plan. The homes even achieve an EPC (Energy Performance Coefficient) of 0.0, which means that the energy consumption of a home (excluding the consumption of household appliances) is neutral.
For the facades of Strand Noord Nesselande project, thermally modified Fraké was used, treated by us with Flame Delay FX Pro, and finished with Sansin Enviro Stain Woodsealer for natural protection and even greying of the wood.
