De Elshof Anna Paulowna, the new location of the residential care group Samen, opened in mid-2016. De Elshof consists of homes for people who can still live independently, but like to know that help is always close by. Dementia care is also offered here in the form of small-scale homes. Those who can still live independently can rent a flat at De Elshof. Lots of wood was used in the facades, especially in the inner garden of the complex, where thermally-modified spruce was applied. The wood is fire retardant treated with Flame Delay PT and finished with Sansin Enviro Stain Woodsealer to give it an attractive, uniform weathered look.
