Het-Hooghout-Amsterdam-15

About

Het Hooghout is a collective residential building, with a commercial space and a parking garage. It was developed through collective private commissioning by the construction group Het Hooghout in Amsterdam-Noord. The residential tower consists of 20 homes, each individually designed in collaboration with the residents. Additionally, the building includes a commercial space for light horeca (hospitality) on the side facing the Ridderspoor.

The closed wooden facade of ‘Het Hooghout’ is made of thermally modified Fraké wood, treated with a fire-retardant coating (Flame Delay) and finished with Sansin Woodsealer.

Het Hooghout was nominated for the ‘Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs’ in 2022.
