One of the highlights of the station designed by Team CS is the enormous station hall, with its wooden ceiling apparently folded into crisp random surfaces. The Western red cedar used for the ceiling was supplied in no less than twelve sizes. It was made fire-retardant with Flame Delay® PT, and finished with Colorseen Timberstain. The planed Western red cedar with fine-sawn visible side is nailed to the substructure with incredible craftsmanship in an acoustical play of heights and depths, with 35 mm seams.
